How to import a site style package in eZ publish?

Issue:

Sometimes you can find a nice website interface design for eZ publish as a Site Style Package and you want to use it.

Solution:

Once you have made the download of the package you need to import it to your site by using the Administration Interface.

  • Access the Administration Interface
  • Click in "Setup" button in the horizontal menu
  • Select "Packages" from the left menu
  • Click on "Import new package" button
  • Choose the ".ezpkg" file that you downloaded and import the package.

Then

  • Click in "Design" button in the horizontal menu
  • Select "Look and feel" from the left menu
  • Change the current image (logo) with the "logo" file that you want
  • Select the design that you imported
  • Click on "Send for publishing" button.

Note: If you want the logo a bit bigger you have to change the logo size in settings/siteaccess/[site_access]/image.ini.append.php file.
